Description
Ofloxacin (brand names include: Onoff / Floxin / Floxstat / Ocuflox / Novecin / Oflo / Oflox / Taravid / Tarivid / Zanocin) belongs to a class of drugs known as fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
Ofloxacin is used for the treatment of many bacterial infections, including bronchitis, pneumonia, uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections, gonorrhea, urethritis, cystitis, complicated urinary tract infections, and prostatitis.
Ofloxacin can also be used for the treatment of travelers' diarrhea.
